Only the treatment you need, done precisely.
Worried whether you really need it, or whether something could go wrong?
That worry is natural. You cannot see inside your own mouth.
So we show you first, and recommend only what we have seen.
Director Jeong Jinwoo of Joy Dental takes responsibility for the whole process, from the first diagnosis to care after treatment.

GREETING
First we listen fully. Only then do we talk about treatment.
Hello, I am Jeong Jinwoo, director of Joy Dental Clinic Bongcheon.
I know that coming to the dentist is not an easy step. So before any treatment begins, I start by listening carefully: how much it hurts, what worries you, and what kind of treatment you want. I believe the answer is in there.
I will put an accurate diagnosis before a fast treatment, and a sincere explanation before fancy facilities. Before extracting a tooth, I will first look for a way to save it, and recommend only the treatment you truly need. From consultation through treatment and beyond, I will take responsibility and be with you.
Thank you for your trust. I will repay it with honest care.
— Jeong Jinwoo, Director, Joy Dental Clinic Bongcheon

PATIENT CONCERNS
Worried about something before dental treatment?
We try to understand your concerns first. These are things we actually hear in the clinic, with the director’s answers.
I keep putting off treatment because I am afraid of the injection.
Q. I am afraid of the anesthetic injection. Is there a way around it?
The i-ject computer-controlled anesthesia system precisely controls the injection speed, which reduces the discomfort of the anesthetic injection.
My teeth are in such bad shape that I worry before I even start.
Q. My teeth are in poor condition. What treatment can I have?
We first consider your concerns about cost, duration and pain. At Joy Dental, the director personally plans the treatment that fits your situation, from a single implant to full-arch (All-on-X) implants and dentures.
I worry whether I will be looked after properly once treatment is done.
Q. Will I be looked after properly after treatment?
Treatment does not end when the procedure ends. The director personally checks your recovery, schedules regular check-ups and keeps an eye on your condition, and you can contact us anytime if something feels wrong.
I worry about being over-treated.
Q. Can I be treated without worrying about over-treatment?
At regular check-ups, Q-ray quantitative light-induced fluorescence imaging shows you cavities and cracks as data, and treatment is planned on that data rather than on guesswork.
How to check when you are worried about over-treatment (Korean) →
Anesthesia does not work well on me, so I worry it will hurt.
Q. Anesthesia does not work well on me. Is pain-free treatment possible?
The i-ject computer-controlled anesthesia system finely adjusts injection speed and volume, so even if anesthesia tends not to work well for you, it can be tailored through consultation.
I heard implants can be covered by health insurance, but I am not sure if that applies to me.
Q. Who is eligible for health-insurance coverage of implants?
If you are 65 or older and enrolled in Korean National Health Insurance, up to two implants in a lifetime are covered with a 30% co-payment. We confirm your exact eligibility at your consultation.
I stopped treatment at another clinic and worry whether I can continue here.
Q. Can I continue treatment that was stopped at another clinic?
Yes. We first confirm the exact state of the previous treatment and then continue. A precise diagnosis establishes your current condition and we re-plan the remaining treatment.
How will I know later whether the treatment was done properly?
Q. Can I confirm that the treatment was done properly after it is finished?
Before treatment starts, we look at your current condition and the plan together on CT and photos and decide together. At the final stage, the director who designed the treatment personally checks and explains the result, and he also handles later check-ups. If anything feels wrong, we will see you again anytime.
