How are the treatment guides different?

Articles at Joy Dental Clinic Bongcheon play three roles. The dental encyclopedia (Korean) briefly explains "what does this term mean," and the treatment pages explain "how is it treated" through the process and cost structure. The treatment guides sit in between — they cover what to check before you decide on treatment.

Before a major treatment, some questions remain even after an explanation: whether this treatment is really needed now, whether there are other options, and how far the base fee goes. We wrote these guides so you can read in advance what is hard to ask fully in the treatment room. If you read them before you come, we can go straight to those questions in your consultation while looking at your photos and CT together.

How to read them

  • When treatment has been recommended but you cannot decide — start with the overtreatment guide. It sets out what evidence to ask about.
  • When you are looking into implants or dentures for the first time — you can see the order of a first visit and what to bring.
  • When you want to know the cost — the guides do not cover amounts. Fees are published item by item on our non-covered fees page.

What is written here does not replace a diagnosis. The same symptom can lead in different directions depending on the condition of your mouth, so the right time to decide is after seeing and checking it directly. What we show you in a consultation is described in our first consultation guide.
